Participation in the Five Star SMS Program is voluntary. The opt-in confirmation message will read as follows:

You must be the authorized user of the mobile phone number provided. By enrolling, you confirm that you are authorized to enroll the number and receive messages at that number.
Message frequency will vary based on operational needs. You may receive multiple messages per week during periods of heightened operational activity (e.g., active weather events, major project milestones, safety campaigns) and fewer messages during routine periods. Five Star Energy Services does not guarantee a minimum or maximum number of messages per month.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier plan and the terms of your service agreement with your carrier. Five Star Energy Services does not charge any additional fee for receiving program messages. Please contact your wireless carrier for information about your plan’s messaging and data rates.
The Five Star SMS Program is designed to work with all major U.S. wireless carriers. Coverage and delivery may vary by carrier, geographic area, and device capabilities. Five Star Energy Services is not responsible for delays or failures in message delivery attributable to carrier networks or device limitations.
You may opt out of the Program at any time by texting STOP to any Five Star Energy Services message. Upon receipt of your STOP request, you will receive a single confirmation message and will be unenrolled from the Program. No further messages will be sent to your number unless you re-enroll.
Opting out of SMS communications does not affect your employment status, your obligation to receive communications through other channels (email, in-person briefings, etc.), or any other rights or obligations.
